originally from Maryland. She began her career as a spoken word artist in Malibu, California where she learned the tricks of the trade in lyricism. As she currently works on her Master's degree at Wake Forest University, Demi hopes to use her music as a catalyst for change. Her crisp and intellectual flow set her apart in today's rap arena. She is currently signed to King Poole Music Group in Charlotte, NC. Her upcoming project, "Word To Langston Hughes," will be released in March.
